KYTC is required to maintain the bridge for public safety. In previous months, the personnel from the District 4 inspected the bridges on Bluegrass Parkway, MP 22. Based on their visual inspection of the bridge, it is needed to repair damages at failure areas and monitor the movements of Pier 5 on both Eastbound and Westbound bridges after repairs have been done.
