How to Use the Exam 3 Practice

Overview

This is an interactive practice exam covering the full Exam 3 material in EE461g. There are 60 questions across 12 topics. Each topic is a short, self-contained quiz you can take in any order; your scores accumulate at the top of the menu screen.

Choosing a topic

  • Click any tile in Choose a Topic to start that topic's quiz.
  • Each tile shows a status badge: Not started, a partial score (e.g. 5/9), or a green completed mark when you score 100%.
  • Your best score per topic is what's kept — redoing a topic and scoring lower won't erase your best.

Answering a question

  • Read the prompt and study the circuit diagram (and any reference shapes shown below the prompt).
  • Click a choice. Correct answers highlight in green; incorrect choices highlight in red and the correct one is revealed in green.
  • An explanation appears with the relevant equation, a step-by-step solution, and a short hint.
  • Click Next to advance, or See Results on the last question of the topic.

Save Progress / Load Progress

  • Save Progress downloads a small JSON file (exam03_progress_….json) capturing your best scores in every topic. You can save it anywhere on your computer.
  • Load Progress opens a file picker; choose a previously saved JSON to restore your scores. Helpful for moving between devices or coming back after closing the browser.
  • Reset wipes all scores in the current browser session. (Save first if you might want them back.)

Built-in calculator

The blue Calculator tab on the right edge of every screen opens a scientific calculator drawer for working out numerical questions without leaving the page.
